Scope of Works:
Weathershield was contracted by BBTTCC, the General Contractor of the International Waterfront Complex Project to provide specialist roofing and waterproofing services to all buildings of this signature building complex in the heart of downtown Port of Spain.
With the Hotel Tower and 2 No. Office Towers, all in excess of 20 storeys high looking down on the Lower Level Exposed roofs, the project designers required an aesthetically pleasing roof system for these highly visible areas.
They specified that a Carlisle 60 Mil TPO Single Ply Roof System be installed over Carlisle HPH Polyisocuanurate Board Insulation over a Sloping Structural Roof Deck.
Additionally, PVDF Pre-painted aluminium custom fabricated perimeter termination flashing and parapet wall coping was installed to finish these roof areas. All were successfully completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of our client BBTTCC. A 15 year manufacturer’s Gold Seal System Warranty was issued for this work ensuring the waterproofing protection of our materials and workmanship.
